Mani stone helps one reintegrate the fragmented self, allowing for spiritual wholeness and union with the Higher Self. It is a stone of forgiveness, compassion, love and kindness. It can lead to metanoia, the joining of the Divine.
The Mani Stone, is named after the third-century mystic teacher Mani. The name Mani means 'Gemstone'
The energies of the Mani Stone encourage forgiveness, inclusion and the regeneration of hope. All of us need to make a practice of forgiveness, for our own benefit as well as that of others. When we hold a judgement against someone else, it is primarily oneself who suffers. Further holding a grudge or judgement causes a fragmentation of union between beings on the soul level, engendering spiritual disharmony.
On the individual level, self judgement brings about inner fragmentation, a sort of low level mental illness experienced to some degree by most people. Working with Mani Stone with the intention of forgiveness of self and others can dissolve all of these complex negative attachment.
