however… this latest one arrived spot on my birthday (today), so it truly was a divine gift!
The Tanzanite took my breath away: those glossy layers of luminosity and that heavenly light colour (plus the natural gold base) are beyond exquisite. We haven’t had time to get acquainted yet, but I already know we’re going to get along beautifully. The same goes for the elegant little Brookite in Quartz. I knew I would love these two crystals, and, as usual, I was not disappointed.
What I didn’t foresee was the pull of that “radiant heart” Danburite; that took me completely by surprise. I opened the box and I HAD to put it on. Here’s the thing: I never had any intention of wearing this sparkler (I am not a bling-y girl by any measure); I ordered it as a means to get a quality piece of Danburite that would actually fit in the tiny crystal bowl that I am filling with small and lovely pieces of the Twelve. (Both the Tanzanite and the Brookite will nest in there.) But there I was putting it around my neck—something I would almost never do without an initial cleansing—and WHOOSH. Some of these high-vibe crystals can make us light-headed; this Danburite made me light-hearted. It really did. It took me while to settle into the sensation.
I haven’t taken it off. It is purring through my sternum.
I’ve had some fascinating interactions with Danburite in the past month. I’m so fond of the quirk and charm of natural crystals that I suppose it didn’t occur to me to consider it might come through as tenderly and compellingly from a facetted stone. And on that note… please invoice me for the following miracle:
