I purchased 2 highly energized Museum Quality Ajoite pieces on 1/12/2012 from a private collector. I am offering one of the two pieces now, from my personal collection 1/12/2022.

Only one mine in the world, in Messina, South Africa, has this very rare crystal formation been found. exhausted for years and the only Ajoite in the marketplace comes from old stocks from the two African discoveries.

The last discovery at the Messina mine was in 1991 at depths of 4000 feet below the earths surface. Due to the dangerous nature of the tunnels, it was dynamited and sealed with concrete and officially closed in 1992. THE RAISED RECORD KEEPER crystal is by far the most common form found today. It is recognized by raised triangles that appear on the main facets of the stone's termination, pointing 'upward' toward the apex of the termination.
